Summer 2012 Knockout Cup Draw

The draw for the Summer 2012 Knockout Cup is now available to view via the Competition menu above.

All 1st Round matches to be played on 20th May 2012. 8pm Start.

Please Note - Venues: Captain's should make sure to check the venue of their tie.
Being shown at the top of a draw is not necessarily an indication of a home match.
The draw page clearly displays each tie's venue.

Summer Season Start Date & Details

This season's Summer League will start on Thursday 3rd May 2012.

Fixtures are now available to view via the menu above.  If you require a print out of all of your fixtures then please browse to your division page and then click your team name, a list of all fixtures will appear ready for printing off.

Important Notes For Captains:

Wild Card Doubles:
The format of the final double match of each week (the 10th frame) is changing for the summer.
From the start of this season the final double will be played to 'Scotch Pairs' rules.

The only difference to the usual pairs format is that in Scotch Pairs each team-mate takes it in turns playing shots when it is their visit. 
When either player from that team misses or fouls, the visit then passes to the opposition pair, who also play each shot alternately, and so on.  The alternation carries on throughout that frame.
All other normal pool rules still apply.

The first three doubles frames (frames 1, 2 & 3) should be played the same as usual with players alternating visits.

Player of the Season Awards:
We are running a 'Player of the Season' award for each division this season.
If you want your team players to take part in the Player of the Season awards then you must post your result cards into the Green Postbox at the Hfd Snooker & Pool Centre each week.

Steve Holley

It was with sad hearts that we heard the terrible news last week that Six Dix with Stix player Steve Holley had passed away following a prolonged battle against illness.

Steve was a tremendously popular man within the Hereford pool community, a true gentleman and great sport who possessed a wonderfully dry sense of humour.
Away from the pool scene he was a massive Liverpool FC supporter with a great passion for motorcycling.

Steve played at various venues in the league over many years including K's Pool Club, Karlo's, Hereford Snooker & Pool Centre and JD's, and always alongside his brother Andy. 

Our thoughts go out to Steve's family, his partner Claire and his many friends in the Six Dix pool team and beyond.  He will truly be missed. Rest In Peace Stevo.
